George Zimmerman is “out of money” for the Trayvon Martin murder trial.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , George Zimmerman’s defense lawyers wanted Trayvon Martin’s shouts on recordings to be excluded as evidence. Zimmeran’s lawyers claims audio experts are using bad science to identify a voice calling for help on a recording as being Trayvon Martin.
Trayvon Martin’s texts and photos show the teen was struggling with drugs and fighting . But the Trayvon Martin trial will proceed without that information .
The Trayvon Martin murder trial is seeing George Zimmerman out of money and the jury selection for the trial is not even scheduled to begin for another two weeks on June 10:
“The defense’s trust account has less than $5,000, the Zimmerman lawyers said in a blog post, and more than $20,000 in liabilities. Zimmerman and his attorneys have been soliciting donations for his defense since early in the case, and based on their updates have raised — and apparently spent — about $400,000 already.”
With George Zimmerman out of money the defense’s lead counsel and co-counsel are working for free. Otherwise, George Zimmerman’s defense consists of unpaid interns and staffers. The lawyers claim $120,000 would give Zimmerman “the defense he deserves,” while $75,000 would be the “barest minimum” for a “fighting chance.”
If George Zimmerman is out of money already, do you think the Trayvon Martin trial will be fair?
