Real life couple Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey enjoyed spending time with family during the Fourth of July weekend. On Sunday, the General Hospital stars were featured in a series of photos shared on Laura’s Instagram. However, it seems that Wes’ bulging biceps were the main topic of conversation among both fans and the couple’s co-stars on the ABC soap.
It looked like Laura and Wes spent time with the Ramsey family during the holiday. They apparently scheduled some game time activities for everyone to enjoy, including a watermelon eating contest that Laura took part in. She was seen diving her face into the watermelon slice in a couple of pictures, her longtime boyfriend sitting beside her and looking quite intense. She revealed in the caption that Wes was actually cheering her on to win the contest. She also indicated that she wanted to “kill him.”
The second pic showed how much he annoyed her. As one of Laura’s hands held onto the watermelon rind, the other one was in Wes’ face, seemingly trying to push him away.
Wes was shirtless as he curled his hands into fists and cheered on his girl. His pose allowed his biceps to bulge, drawing viewers’ attention to his fit figure.
One of their fellow General Hospital co-stars, Maurice Benard, quickly hopped into the comments section to make a hilarious statement about Wes’ arm muscles.
“I love the Way Wes is flexing his muscles and acting like he’s not,” the soap actor quipped.
Many of Laura’s followers didn’t seem to mind seeing her boyfriend flex his biceps, apparently without really trying.
“Hahaha this was great! Wes looks awesome muscles,” one fan wrote with a fire emoji.
“I like the muscles,” remarked another follower.
Although her boyfriend was shirtless, Laura wore a loose white cover up over what looked like a black bikini. She accessorized with some simple jewelry and kept herself cool by wearing a large purple straw hat. She styled her famous curly blond locks down in soft waves that cascaded past her shoulders.
The General Hospital stars are currently in a holding pattern, as they are waiting to get the all clear for the soap to begin filming again. Production was halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, however, it looks like they may be able to get back to work very soon, as Los Angeles County has allowed production to resume, as long as specific guidelines are followed.
