With the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones set to be the seventh in Season 6, the HBO fantasy drama is heading towards a conclusion for yet another year. With that in mind, there’s a lot of speculation around how the first season to splinter away from the source content will conclude. HBO has now published the titles for Game of Thrones Season 6, Episodes 7 through 10, giving us an idea of what’s still to come in the season and how it will conclude.
According to GamesRadar , we’ve known the title for the seventh episode of the season for quite a while now, with HBO already having released a teaser trailer for the episode. Titled “The Broken Man,” the episode looks to focus on the Clegane brothers and a long speculated brawl between the pair. The fight will come about as a result of charges brought against Queen Regent Cersei by the Faith Militant. Gregor Clegane, or “The Mountain,” as he’s more commonly known, will likely represent the Queen Regent, whom he serves.
Back in Season 4 of Game of Thrones, viewers will remember that Gregor Clegane’s brother, Sandor Clegane, or “The Hound,” as he’s more commonly known, was left for dead by Brienne of Tarth. However, viewers didn’t actually see the character die, suggesting he could return and look to finish off the brother he loathes.
There’s a little less information available about the remaining episodes in the season beyond Episode 7. However, as reported by the Independent , Episode 8 is titled “No One”, strongly suggesting that the episode’s story will be central to Arya Stark. The most recent episode of the show saw Arya Stark refusing to kill her target, suggesting that she’s not ready to become “no one” and will instead again become Arya of House Stark. Will Episode 8 see Arya finally leave Braavos and return to Westeros to help her brother and sister in reclaiming the North?

Long time viewers of Game of Thrones will already know to expect big things to happen in the ninth episode of each season. With that taken into consideration, there’s a good chance that something huge is going to happen in Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 9, and the episode’s title, “The Battle of the Bastards,” only supports that.
Jon Snow and Sansa Sark are, of course, currently making plans to take back their home of Winterfell and the North from Sansa’s husband, Ramsay Bolton. As both Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton are illegitimate sons, it’s almost a given that the episode will see the pair clash over Winterfell. Jon Snow currently has the power of the Wildlings, along with a number of key northern houses behind him. However, Ramsay Bolton has already proven he can hold his own in taking on Stannis Baratheon in Season 5.
Episode 10 will likely deal with many of the repercussions of the events of Episode 9. However, at the same time, there’s likely to be something bigger happening. Titled “The Winds of Winter,” the episode could finally see winter arriving in Westeros, like the Starks have been warning for many years. We’ve already seen the Night’s King making considerable advances in his journey towards Westeros, so it’s very likely that Season 6 will draw to a conclusion with the army of the dead arriving in the Seven Kingdoms.
Given the titles for the remainder of Game of Thrones Season 6, the best of the season certainly looks still to come.
