Sara and Erin Foster have officially weighed in on their father’s divorce with Yolanda Hadid .
During a chat with Jenny McCarthy on Dirty, Sexy, Funny , the sisters bashed the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star for being overly dramatic about her fight with Lyme disease.
According to Us Magazine , the Barely Famous stars stood behind their father, David, and did not appreciate how he was treated on the show.
“To be honest with you, our loyalty is to our dad, he’s a really good guy,” Sara shared. “For no one to come to his defense, it was unfortunate…. [My dad] will give the shirt off his back to you, to you, to you. To anyone in this room.”
Hadid’s divorce shocked many fans. The two had been married for four years before deciding to part ways in December.
Hadid cited her ongoing health problems as the reason behind their split.
This didn’t stop degrading rumors about David from surfacing, especially after many fans thought he should stick by Hadid’s side until she got better.
As far as his daughters are concerned, they don’t think the RHOBH star is as sick as she claims.
“It’s not for us to comment on, only she knows her journey, but what I will say is, if you’re capable of continuing to be on a reality show, you’re not dying — let’s be honest,” Sara continued. “I know sick people. I’ve been to Children’s Hospital. I’ve seen children who are f**king dying, so it’s not easy for me.”
According to Radar Online , Erin also questioned Yolanda Hadid’s intentions in showing her struggles with Lyme disease on a reality show.
“No one wants everyone to know how sick they are and everyone to see how much they are struggling,” she explained. “And when that seems to be the focus, of making sure everyone sees how sick you are, that’s just confusing to someone that is trying to be supportive.”
As fans will recall, Hadid’s illness has been scrutinized on RHOBH . In fact, Page Six reports that several of Hadid’s co-stars believe she may suffer from Munchausen syndrome.
Lisa Rinna led the accusations against Hadid, which continued throughout the majority of Season 6 of RHOBH .
For Hadid, allowing cameras into her personal life is a way to promote awareness about Lyme disease. In fact, Hadid even wrote a book about her experiences, Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease .
However, Hadid’s time in the limelight is over following her departure from Bravo’s hit reality series.
According to Enstarz , not all of Hadid’s former co-stars are happy to see her go.
Last season’s newest member, Erika Girardi, expressed sadness to see Hadid leave RHOBH , especially given the circumstances surrounding her departure.
“It’s terrible, but she has to do what’s right for her,” Girardi shared. “That doesn’t stop my friendship with her. I was just on the phone with her like two days ago anyway, so nothing changes except she’s not on camera.”
Girardi went on to reveal that Hadid has still not recovered from her health battles but continues to fight to get well.
Hadid released a stated confirming her exit from the show.
“I would have loved a more graceful exit than Season 6 but sometimes we don’t get to control the ending of the chapters in our life,” she stated. “I believe that every exit is a new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv Family as I continue to focus on my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home…”
