Flight 370 might not be in the Indian Ocean, according to Emirates Airlines president Tim Clark. Mr. Clark recently made some pretty bold claims regarding the whereabouts of the missing Boeing 777 recently, and his remarks are making headlines around the globe this weekend. According to The Mirror , Clark believes that the plane was not on autopilot , and that the pilot (or co-pilot) was in control of the aircraft until the flight came to an end.
“We have not seen a single thing that suggests categorically that this aircraft is where they say it is, apart from this so-called electronic satellite ‘handshake’, which I question as well. MH370 was, in my opinion, under control, probably until the very end,” Clark said.
Malaysia Airlines flight 370 has been missing for seven months now. The plane went off radar a couple of hours into the flight, which left Kuala Lumpur for Beijing. There were 239 passengers and crew members on board the aircraft. At this time, no one knows what happened to the plane, or where the plane ended up. Some speculate that the aircraft crashed into the ocean, but without any evidence, others believe that the plane actually landed safely somewhere (though it is believed that the passengers either died on board or were killed at some point after the landing).
“There hasn’t been one over-water incident in the history of civil aviation – apart from Amelia Earhart in 1939 – that has not been at least 5 or 10% trackable. But MH370 has simply disappeared. For me, that raises a degree of suspicion. I’m totally dissatisfied with what has been coming out of all of this. Every single second of that flight needs to be examined…”
Flight 370 disappeared without a trace, which Clark says is alarming. According to Newswire , the fact that there hasn’t even been “a seat or cushion” suggests that the Boeing 777 did not end up in the ocean , despite the extensive (and expensive) search in the vast waters off the west coast of Australia.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , another leg of the search for the missing plane resumed a week ago. While there still has not been any evidence found, some are hopeful that this new search will turn up the fuselage. However, as time goes by, more and more people are starting to think like Mr. Clark. Perhaps the plane isn’t in the ocean at all…
