Fall’s most popular flavor, pumpkin spice, has gone overboard. While it’s a marvelous reminder that Autumn has arrived when leaves start falling and Starbucks starts promoting its popular Pumpkin Spice Latte , at what point does the pumpkin-nutmeg-cinnamon spice combo stop appearing in every food, drink, health, beauty, and household cleaning product?
It’s likely that the craze will stop when Thanksgiving is over — that’s when all things pumpkin spice will turn into all things eggnog for the entire Christmas season.

Last Week Tonight host John Oliver recently ranted about pumpkin spice lattes (otherwise known as PSL), calling it “coffee that tastes like a candle” (video above). Unless you’re a die-hard Starbuck’s PSL fan, it’s hard not to nod your head in agreement.
However, there are hundreds of pumpkin-infused products on the market that make a piping hot PSL sound like heaven on earth. The worst part? Most of them don’t even use pumpkin — and this may break you heart — Food Babe estates that even Starbucks most popular fall beverage doesn’t include pumpkin on its rather sketchy list of ingredients.
Even a bigger fail than no pumpkin in a PSL? These five products rank right up there with BuzzFeed’s Worst Product Flops Of All Time list.
Burger King apparently has a new BK Pumpkin burger, but you will have to go to Japan to get it. Why not order a bacon cheeseburger instead and call it a day?
Rumors that Durex started marketing pumpkin spice condoms started buzzing on Twitter in September. While nothing says “fall” like a PS flavored condom, Durex disappointed millions by stating that this was just a (brilliant) hoax.

Pumpkin Spice Pringles existed at some point on grocery store shelves, or this guy is lying.

Maxim’s Laura Leu states that if anyone hands out Hershey’s Pumpkin Spice Kisses on Halloween, “you deserve to have your house egged.”
Gum that doesn’t freshen your breath? You may want to leave Extra Pumpkin Spice gum off your grocery list. Although Wrigley was pretty excited to announce their newest flavored gum on Twitter, is it safe to say that most of us are glad it’s only here for a limited time?
No need to wait for Thanksgiving or get a latte to enjoy the fall flavor of pumpkin spice! pic.twitter.com/uik6xtzyZt
