FIFA 15 have been very well received by fans since its release in September, 2014 and with the days of 2015 ticking by, FIFA fans all over the world are already on the lookout for the upcoming FIFA 16.

Speculations about the final FIFA 16 release date have been crawling around the web but this week, popular FIFA games website FIFA Game News (FGN) released an announcement detailing the estimated release dates of FIFA 16 .

FIFA Game News has had a steady reputation when it comes to release date leaks as they were the first to reveal release dates for both FIFA 14 and FIFA 15, four months in advance. Below is the list of release dates for FIFA 16 as reported by FGN .

North America – September 22 (Tuesday) Latin America, except Brazil – September 24 (Thursday) Australia – September 24 (Thursday) Europe – September 24 (Thursday) United Kingdom – September 25 (Friday) Japan – October 8 (Thursday) Brazil – October 8 (Thursday)

However, despite the confidence on the credibility of FGN owing to their past leaks, the website acknowledges that the dates they have published for FIFA 16 are merely based on strong rumors.

“We remind you that the FIFA 16 release date indicated in this article is merely indicative. Currently, there is not any official confirmation of when it will be possible to play FIFA 16.”

Apart from the release dates published on the website, FGN also revealed that FIFA 16 will be available on a huge range of consoles. FIFA 16 is expected to come out on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii, and iOS. Like its predecessor , FIFA 16 is rumored to not be available for Wii U.

An earlier rumor that also took off last week was the possible story line that will come to FIFA 16. FIFA games have not been known to employ story narratives and this leak could be the revolution FIFA fans have been waiting for.

In a report by FIFA 15 News, the “Narrative Designer” post that was put up on the EA Sports career website had fans speculating about the possibility of a story mode for FIFA 16. The job description reads the key responsibilities of the Narrative Designer.

“The Narrative Designer will bring the player’s experience to explosive life in its story-telling mode, championing story to the team and ensuring that script, speech, and story-telling devices are tuned to achieve a gripping emotional narrative experience.”

Official news on FIFA 16 will be announced in June at the E3 conference where fans can witness the official gameplay trailer, screenshots, and new features coming to the franchise. Until then, fans can only wait around and juggle rumors about the eagerly-awaited FIFA 16.
