Fast and Furious 6 continues to drop a massive amount of promotional material on its fans. Universal Pictures recently pulled the curtain back on a character poster and another trailer.

The next installment in the action-packed franchise is set to arrive in theaters this summer. With all of the other movies currently vying for moviegoers’ undivided attention, the studio is making sure Justin Lin’s upcoming sequel doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.

Although the latest Fast and Furious 6 trailer can be classified as new, it really isn’t very different than the three-minute trailer offered a few days after the Super Bowl. In fact, it’s essentially the same clip with less footage.

In addition to the shorter, newer trailer, Universal has unveiled a new character poster for the upcoming flick. The moody one-sheet finds Paul Walker leaning against a car as he gazes into the distance. The tagline reads: “All roads lead to this.”

Here’s the short version of Universal’s lengthy synopsis:

“Agent Hobbs enlists the aid of Dom and team to help bring a rival gang, led by Owen Shaw, to justice. In exchange for clear records, they must put an end to their schemes, no matter how personal the cost.”

Fans of the franchise learned yesterday that modern action hero and Expendables co-star Jason Statham might have a cameo in Fast and Furious 6 . Without giving too much away, his character is somehow involved with Fast and the Furious 7 . However, none of this information has been confirmed by Statham or Universal Pictures.

The new trailer for the latest installment has been embedded below.

Here’s the new character poster featuring Paul Walker.

Fast and Furious 6 stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Luke Evans, Elsa Pataky, and Gina Carano. Look for the film to hit theaters in the US and the UK on May 24.
