Emily Maynard is engaged, and this time she wants to walk down the aisle as soon as possible.

After twice appearing on The Bachelorette and twice ending up with broken relationships, Maynard has once again found love, this time with Tyler Johnson.

US Weekly reported that Johnson, who Emily met in church, popped the question at Emily’s home in North Carolina last weekend.

“We’re really excited,” Maynard said. “He proposed to me at home and gave both Ricki [her 8-year-old daughter] and me rings. It was so sweet. Ricki loves him more than she likes me.”

The engagement comes just a few months after Emily Maynard talked about how happy she was being single . Back in the summer, the 27-year-old said she was taking a break in her search for a man so she can focus on being a mom to 8-year-old daughter Ricki.

“Right now, I am under no pressure to find a guy,” Maynard told the The Huffington Post . “I’m figuring it out on my own. But I will say this: When I do find him, this man will be the best, because he’ll be someone who adds something pretty spectacular to our lives.”

Emily Maynard has a difficult romantic past. After getting pregnant at age 18, her first love, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, died in a plane crash. After appearing on The Bachelorette she got engaged to Brad Womack in 2011, but the relationship came to an end.

Emily had another chance when she again appeared on The Bachelorette , but her engagement to Jef Holm ended in 2012.

“I’m figuring it out on my own,” Maynard said. “But I will say this: When I do find him, this man will be the best, because he’ll be someone who adds something pretty spectacular to our lives.”

Emily Maynard and Tyler Johnson met shortly after her second stint on The Bachelorette ended, but they didn’t make things official until after her relationship with Jef Holm fizzled. They haven’t announced a date for a wedding, but Emily said she’d like to do it as soon as possible.
