Ever since Donald Trump was elected President, Elon Musk’s importance in matters related to government has increased. From firing federal employees to voicing opinions regarding the passing of various bills, Musk has always been by Trump’s side.
One particular thing that Musk seems determined about is firing federal employees who do not serve any real purpose or do their jobs well. His reason behind the mass firings that happened because of him and Trump in the USAID is that it would save taxpayers money.
However, despite the narrative that Donald Trump and Elon Musk have been pushing behind their decisions to terminate federal employees, the real reasons become increasingly apparent. The President and his right-hand billionaire are mostly targeting departments that do not align with their views of the new and great America.
Moreover, Musk’s decisions seem to be completely in sync with Trump, further proving that the two are indeed working together. Be it supporting him regarding an email that demanded federal employees outline what they did last week or jokingly calling him President Elon in a Fox interview, the two seem to be taking bromance to a different level.
However, one thing that appears to be concerning among all these is that if Musk is really serious about terminating federal employees who are not serious about their jobs or don’t bring much to the table, he can very well be referring to Trump himself.

In numerous instances previously, it has already been hinted that it is probably Musk behind Trump who is making the major decisions for the government. The TIME magazine even went as far as putting a picture of Musk behind Trump’s desk at his Oval Office. If these speculations are to be believed even by a little bit, Musk’s terminations hinting at Trump are not really absurd.
Moreover, it is now public information that Trump has spent most of his second presidency playing golf. After he met with the French President, Trump also raised health concerns, as a large bruise was spotted on his right hand. This has further raised questions about how long he will be able to continue as President.

Considering all these points, one thing that becomes evident is that neither Trump’s work nor his health aligns with the kind of productivity Musk expects from federal employees. While he certainly does not have the power now to terminate Trump from his position, no one can be sure of what the future holds.
It should also be noted here that these are all speculations based on how Musk has been behaving recently and what his vision is when it comes to reforming the government. Publicly, the Trump-Musk duo appears strong without showing any signs of cracking their bond.
Moreover, it’s also interesting how Trump holds his dominance over Musk despite the latter making decisions that might end up affecting the President himself if the billionaire is not checked on time.
