Dylann Roof was treated to Burger King just hours after he shot and killed nine people in Charleston, South Carolina, a day earlier.
According to the Huffington Post , the 21-year-old shooter was in police custody when he was brought a meal from a local fast food chain because he was hungry. Dylann was arrested a day after the incident, and admitted to opening fire at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Despite being in handcuffs and facing serious murder charges, police found some sort of soft spot for the kid, and decided to get him a burger and fries.
“Shelby Police Chief Jeff Ledford told the Charlotte Observer that when Roof complained he was hungry, cops went to a nearby Burger King and bought the accused mass murderer a meal while he was in custody.”
Dylann Roof’s Burger King meal has outraged many U.S. citizens.

After Dylann Roof was arrested, police took him to Burger King because he was hungry. Killed people and he gets a meal #WhitePrivilege

Ok, so, does the Charleston PD buy fast food for everyone it arrests? Burger King for Dylann Roof? Please let this be a general policy.

A day after Dylann Roof had his Burger King, he was formally charged on nine counts of murder, and one count of illegal weapons possession. According to Mail Online, Dylann has shown “ no remorse ” and has “expressed racist views” when questioned about the shooting.
There has been quite a bit of controversy surrounding this case. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , even the judge faced some backlash after referring to Dylann’s family as “victims.”
“We have victims — nine of them. But we also have victims on the other side. There are victims on this young man’s side of the family. Nobody would have ever thrown them into the whirlwind of events that they are being thrown into. We must find it in our heart at some point in time not only to help those that are victims but to also help his family as well.”
Do you think Dylann Roof should have been treated to Burger King after his arrest?
