The Duggar family has had a lot to pray about lately! The 19 Kids and Counting stars recently endured two very scary events that could have ended in tragedy.
According to recent reports, there was a terrifying explosion on the Duggar family property in Tontitown, Arkansas. The source of the blast was a ruptured gas line, and Jedidiah Duggar witnessed the big boom while he was driving home Monday morning. During an interview with a local news station, Jedidiah described the area where the blast happened as looking like a “war zone.”
“When I first pulled up, I saw this dirt all over cars and rocks were flying everywhere,” Jedidiah told KFSM . “It busted out a lot of windshields.”
A construction crew hit the gas line near Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s house, but the blast must have been pretty far away from the residence of the 19 Kids and Counting stars. The Duggar family patriarch and matriarch were at home, but they weren’t aware of the explosion until they saw a group of people gathering in their yard.
“Whenever it first happened, my dad was looking, like ‘what are all these people doing in our yard?’” Jedidiah said. “And we finally figured out they were evacuating.”
The gas line was temporarily repaired, so hopefully residents won’t have to worry about leaking gas. There were no reports of any injuries, but a nearby business had to be evacuated shortly after the explosion. There’s also no word on whether any members of the 19 Kids and Counting camera crew were around to document the aftermath of the big bang, but the crew is likely lurking around somewhere since Jill Duggar is supposed to give birth soon.
Speaking of Jill Duggar, the gas blast wasn’t the only scare that the Duggar family recently experienced. Yesterday the Duggar Family News: Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray Facebook page published photos of an ambulance at the residence of Jill and Derick Dillard .
“A source sent me this today. An ambulance was spotted at Jill and Derick’s house. It looks like baby Dilly is coming. Hope they’re all okay.”
An update was later posted saying that the ambulance was only outside for a matter of minutes, and no one was seen getting into it. Another update revealed that Jill Duggar had not given birth and that she was doing fine, so perhaps the mom-to-be just mistakenly thought that Baby Dilly was on his way. As the Inquistir recently previously reported, Baby Dilly is already running a bit late. Jill wants to give birth at home instead of heading to the hospital, but the 19 Kids and Counting star might not get her wish if she’s having issues.
The Duggar Family hasn’t posted anything about the explosion or the ambulance at Jill and Derick Dillard’s house on any of their official social media pages, but the Inquisitr will keep you posted on any updates.
