Drew Barrymore is a woman of many talents. The beauty is a notable actress and entrepreneur, has her own beauty line, and has published a book. Now Drew is in talks for her very own talk show.
The mother of two has experienced personal difficulties thus far in 2016, seeing as she and her husband Will Kopelman have chosen to go their separate ways. However, her career has not suffered one bit. The 41-year-old has been discussing a talk show endeavor with Warner Bros. TV and Ellen DeGeneres’ production company.
Barrymore is the narrator for the upcoming reality series First Dates under Warner Bros. TV’s Shed Media and Ellen’s production company, meaning she already has ties with the entertainment giants.

Who knew that Barrymore was so active as a producer these days? Daily Mail shares the extent of Drew’s involvement in the production world.
“Barrymore has been an active television producer recently serving as an executive producer of the Esquire series Knife Fight and also was an executive producer of Tough Love on VH1. The actress and WB also have been discussing a development deal for her as a producer. Barrymore also is an executive producer for her upcoming Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet.”
A deal for Barrymore’s talk show has not yet been made. If one does materialize, Ellen DeGeneres is set to executive produce the show. That would be one dream team that would definitely attract a massive audience.
While Drew is experiencing continual career success and is smitten with her adorable daughters, Frankie and Olive, details about her post-divorce relationships with Will’s family have been made known, all thanks to Kopelman’s sister, Jill Kargman. While the Odd Mom Out star spoke on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a caller phoned in to ask what her relationship is like with Drew, post split. Kargman responded cheerfully to the question about her sister-in-law, as OK! relays.
“It’s great. She’s always my sister and I feel like we’re gonna be family for life because there are these adorable kids.”
Despite the split, Drew and Jill remain “best friends.” Drew guest stars on Kargman’s show Odd Mom Out as the next-door neighbor to Kargman’s character, Jill Weber. The looming divorce between Drew Barrymore and ex, Will Kopleman, has seemed to bring to two women even closer together. This is apparently most obvious when filming for the show.

Co-star Andy Buckley , spoke about the two women, as People shares, and what has been observed since Drew and Will called it quits.
“She and Jill are still best friends and everybody’s still super close even though there’s trouble, obviously. She’s incredibly funny. I didn’t really realize how funny she is.”
While sharing with Entertainment Weekly about Barrymore’s character on the show, Drew indicated that she plays a character even nuttier than Jill.
“Turns out Jill (Jill Kargman) isn’t the only awkward mom on the Upper East Side. When a blizzard traps Jill and her family inside their apartment, she’s forced to spend the day with Brad (John Hodgman) and Meredith (Drew Barrymore), a mom of three who is even nuttier than Jill herself. ‘She is a mom and she is odd, and by the end of the episode, she will be out,’ Barrymore jokes of her character. ‘[Brad and Meredith] are just weirdos, honestly.’”
It seems that a divorce is not enough to keep Drew from smiling and continuing on as one successful and respected talent who seems to have an unfailing desire to tap into new avenues in the industry, while also branching out and using her entrepreneurial skills for other interests.
