Donald Trump doesn’t hold back his opinions, even when it comes to negative views on certain women. The Republican presidential candidate has been called out numerous times for his outspoken remarks, yet he refuses to apologize, stating that sophisticated women understand him.
People reports that Trump has a long history of feuds with females , which quickly turned into hurling insults about their appearances. One of the most famous feuds began in 2006 when Trump referred to comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell as a “loser” and “fat little Rosie,” after she spoke on The View , questioning why Trump didn’t fire Miss USA after she was caught drinking underage.
“Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice, fat little Rosie.”
The feud continued on in 2012 when Trump called O’Donnell out on Twitter, once again referring to her as a loser.
I feel sorry for Rosie ‘s new partner in love whose parents are devastated at the thought of their daughter being with @Rosie –a true loser.

Earlier this year, during his first Republican presidential debate, Trump blasted O’Donnell once again. When Fox moderator Megyn Kelly questioned Trump about calling women fat pigs and disgusting animals, Trump replied, “Only Rosie O’Donnell .”
Yet, the insults toward women didn’t stop at O’Donnell. Last month, during an interview with Rolling Stone , Trump insulted Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s looks.
“Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?”
Trump even hurled insults at Heidi Klum, an international supermodel who once appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue . According to Trump, supermodel Klum lost her appeal.
“She’s no longer a ten.”
When asked to explain his insults, Trump began naming the women he ridiculed, armed with a reason for each one. Starting with O’Donnell, Trump declared that she’s a bully and he had to defend himself.
“Frankly there was no way that you could deal with that situation. I had no choice unless I wanted to just sit back and be a punching bag and you know that’s never been my thing.”
Trump indicated that his comment concerning Klum was an innocent remark, and that his comments toward Fiorina had nothing to do with her looks, and more so about her persona.
Trump refuses to apologize, although he does acknowledge the negative press he received from his comments, which has made him more cautious when speaking. He still stands behind his comments though, indicating that women understand where he’s coming from.
“I find that women fully get it. They understand me and they understand life and they’re very sophisticated, they’re very strong and they’re great.”
Trump’s problems with women started well before his recent put-downs. Newsweek reports that in Trump’s 1997 book, Trump: The Art of the Comeback , the business mogul insulted the 1996 Miss Universe winner, Alicia Machado, bashing her for gaining 50 pounds after he went to the gym with her and supported her.
Trump blames political correctness for the bad press he’s gotten, explaining that it’s a “big problem” in the nation, and that he’s the only candidate brave enough to speak his mind.
Meanwhile, Trump remains in the top spot on the Republican primary polls. Despite his insults, Donald Trump still has many women who are rooting for, including 58-year-old Ginger Mangam of Little Rock, Arkansas, who thinks Trump can lead the country in a different direction.
“Unfortunately, I’m leaning toward [Donald] Trump, only because he’s a non-political figure. I don’t think it’s a problem; I think it’s a message.”
