Farrah Abraham is happy to have branched out from parenting in Nebraska. As she continues to promote Teen Mom OG , the reality star and mother of 6-year-old Sophia said there’s more to life than staying at home and having children.
On March 27, along with a flyer for a Teen Mom OG launch party, Farrah Abraham told fans , “On the way to see you Tonight Jersey! 9pm @TeenmomOG #MTV #FarrahFriday #NYC #NJ.”
Although the other Teen Mom OG stars, including Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood, aren’t touring nightclubs to promote the new installment of the MTV reality show, Farrah Abraham is doing what she can, both with fans online and in person, to make sure everyone is tuning into the series.
However, in addition to promoting the show, she’s also caused some controversy. Not only has she been feuding with some of her co-stars, she recently made an odd statement about motherhood during an interview with Yahoo!
“Farrah now is way different from the Farrah then,” Farrah Abraham explained, according to a March 27 report by Wetpaint Entertainment .
“If I was that same person, it was just finish college, open up my restaurant, live my happy life, get married to Derek and have my daughter. We’d probably have other kids, we’d stay there in Nebraska and that’s my life.”
While Farrah Abraham may have been content with living her life as a mom in Nebraska, the times have changed, and now, she’s much more than a mother. She’s also the star of an adult film, creator of a line of adult toys, and the author of an erotic trilogy.
Continuing on in her Yahoo! interview, Farrah Abraham seemingly slammed those who chose to be stay at home moms, saying there’s “more to life than that.”
“I am very happy that I pushed myself to be more than that individual who I was growing up to be. I only wish others who watch us push ourselves to be more than staying in their hometown and having kids. That’s lovely, but there’s much more to life than that.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Farrah Abraham caused a stir earlier this week online after she re-tweeted messages from fans dissing her co-stars, including Lowell. In response to the diss, Lowell’s fiancé, Tyler Baltierra, slammed Abraham for speaking her opinion via fans’ messages, instead of using her own voice.
