When Demi Moore returned from rehab earlier this month, she appeared to be happy and healthy as she stepped off a plane in Los Angeles–but, according to reports, it looks like Moore is now struggling with something else: getting over Ashton Kutcher.
Moore ended the six-year marriage with Kutcher after the Two and a Half Men star allegedly cheated on Moore with Sara Leal the day before the couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. However, Moore may now be having a change of heart.
A “concerned friend” of Moore’s told Grazia magazine: “Demi definitely isn’t over him yet. Her mood right now relies solely on Ashton and how responsive he is to her messages and phone calls.”
Grazia ‘s source continued: “If he doesn’t message her back for a couple of hours or seems distant in a text, she starts freaking out. While she won’t admit it, she is still completely infatuated with him and it’s clear she wants him back.”
The friend went on to say that Moore was doing well in rehab and seemed well on her way to recovery–both from her personal health problems and from her ex–but a recent impromptu visit from Kutcher caused her to become fixated on her former husband.
“He didn’t actually make it down until a couple of weeks ago, after promising to go numerous times before that,” the friend says. “As everyone expected, his visit really threw her off and she went from being relatively calm to very anxious and edgy.”
Reports have it that Ashton has already moved on with Lorene Scafaria, but Moore seems to be in denial over the reported relationship.
“Demi’s friends are worried she doesn’t seem to have acknowledged Ashton’s new relationship,” another source told Heat magazine. “She seems to be in denial about the fact he is thinking of settling down with another woman and is looking forward to seeing him.”
