Daniel Maguire Sends Haley And Emily Ferguson A Message After ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Departure

There are apparently no hard feelings between Daniel Maguire and the twins, Haley and Emily Ferguson, despite the fact that their voluntary departure from Bachelor in Paradise , after he saved them from elimination at the previous rose ceremony, effectively sent him home as well. On Monday night, as the latest episode aired, Daniel wrote a comment to Haley telling her that he had fun with her and Emily and for them to take care.

Daniel’s comment was in response to a snapshot and message that Haley posted about him on her Instagram page. The photo shows Haley with Daniel before the rose ceremony. She wrote that while Daniel may hate her a little bit, she hopes that he knows how much she adores him. She thanked Daniel for making the show so entertaining. Haley also thanked her fans for their love and support.

Daniel responded to Haley’s post with a kind message.

“I had a good time with you @hfergie11 and your sister! Take care.”

In a prior episode, Emily and Haley, aware that they were at risk of being sent home, decided to hone in on Daniel. Emily convinced Haley to fake romantic interest in Daniel and to kiss him. Haley said that she wasn’t even remotely interested in Daniel and that the thought of kissing him disgusted her, to the point of wanting to vomit. She agreed and did as she was told. Before the rose ceremony, she found Daniel and told him that she could see something happening between them. He told her that she had a great butt, and they kissed.

Emily and Haley’s scheme worked. At the rose ceremony, Daniel gave his rose to Haley, which also saved Emily since the twins were a package deal. Daniel’s decision to give his rose to Haley disappointed Sarah Herron, whom he had previously pursued and who had given him a rose at the prior rose ceremony despite having had a great date with Christian Bishop. Without Daniel’s rose nor anyone else’s, Sarah was sent home.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Daniel Maguire later explained on Instagram that he declined to give Sarah his rose because he didn’t feel a strong enough romantic connection with her and didn’t want to lead her on.

On the latest Bachelor in Paradise episode, before the rose ceremony, Daniel, realizing that he was at risk of being sent home, joked that since he’s Canadian, he’s close to Santa Claus and so had some jewelry to give to the twins. The twins acknowledged that Daniel was doing all he could to get a rose from them.

In a confessional interview, Daniel acknowledged that he might be going home since he wasn’t in a relationship with anyone. He said that it didn’t make any sense because he’s more entertaining than the rest of the guys left. He added that while Haley did go on a good date with Ryan Beckett, whom he previously made fun of for looking old, he had more to offer Haley.

“These girls would be crazy to not give me a rose! With that being said, I’m gonna keep bringing the heat… if she wants to go with grandpa [Ryan], then she can do that but I think I can connect to her on a simpler level than he can.”

How did Daniel attempt to connect with Haley Ferguson? By bringing her a giant platter of fried food. He joked that he had the food flown in from Las Vegas, where Haley and her sister are from, and that all the major food groups were represented.

Daniel then tried to get Izzy Goodkind to give him the rose by presenting her with a lamp. He declared that his lamp was bigger, better and more expensive than the lamp that Brett Melnick, whom Izzy felt an immediate attraction for, came in with. When Brett was informed of Daniel’s move, Brett made it clear to him that Izzy was his by kissing her on the lips right in front of him.

Daniel’s efforts didn’t work. In their confessional interview, Haley and Emily Ferguson talked about how they didn’t form any romantic connections with anyone. At the rose ceremony, when it was Haley’s turn to hand out a rose, she asked that Emily join her out in front. With both of them breaking down in tears, Haley said that they have been there for five weeks and can’t say that it’ll be fair of them to hand out roses to anyone. Emily added that she and Haley went in together so they’ll leave together. They wished everyone the best and said that they love everyone.

By declining to give out the last two remaining roses, it meant that three men, instead of one, were sent home. Daniel, Ryan and Carl King left. The episode didn’t show Daniel saying his goodbyes, talking to the twins or expressing his feelings over being sent home while leaving the property.

When his elimination was aired, Daniel tweeted that he hopes everyone can still enjoy the show without him on it.

On both the twins’ and Daniel’s social media pages, people left comments stating that the twins should have still given a rose to Daniel so that he could stay on for another week. They asked why Haley and Emily Ferguson didn’t give him a rose before leaving the show themselves.

Given how entertaining Daniel Maguire was on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3, perhaps he’ll be brought back for the fourth season?
