Clint Eastwood makes a return to the screen, directing and staring in Gran Torino due out in December.
The plot details are a little thin (even on the official website) but what we know is that Eastwood plays Walt Kowalski, a racist Korean War veteran, catches a Hmong boy who tries to steal the veteran’s 1972 Gran Torino as part of a gang initiation. Because the boy gets caught, the gang forces him to serve penance to Kowalski, who does not want him around.
