Bachelorette contestant Clint Arlis started out as a frontrunner on Kaitlyn Bristowe season of the Bachelorette, but his nice guy image doesn’t last for long. Will he make it to the final rose ceremon y, or will his attitude turn Kaitlyn off?
Get ready for some fireworks this season, and not the kind that are the result of a great kiss. Host Chris Harrison warned viewers before the season started that Clint, a 27-year-old architectural engineer from Chicago, would turn some people off with his attitude. That’s exactly what happens on Week 3 when Kaitlyn witnesses Arlis’ cockiness in action.
“There’s a fine line between cocky and confident and Clint walks that line constantly,” says Harrison. “He could easily be mistaken for arrogant. He’s a big city architect, well educated, with movie star good looks and he knows it. He’s a charmer, but can turn some people off with his attitude.”
Last week, Clint snagged the first one-on-one date of the season, and Kaitlyn seemed smitten, calling him a “hunk of a man.” Their underwater photography shoot and rooftop dinner date went well, but Clint didn’t have a lot to say. Did he think his presence was merely enough to win over Kaitlyn? Some fans weren’t impressed.
I’m not sure what Kaitlyn sees in Clint. I mean I’m sure he’s a nice per..I’m actually not sure if he is a nice person #TheBachelorette

Clint received Kaitlyn’s rose, mostly because he kissed his way through the date, something she obviously found more attractive than his lack of conversation. Fast forward to Week 3 (June 1), and things quickly go downhill for the Arlis.
According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Clint is part of the sumo wrestling group date with JJ, Shawn B., Chris, Joe, and Tony. Apparently, underwater Clint is more rose-worthy than sumo Clint — Kaitlyn gives the group date rose to Shawn.
It’s not clear exactly what goes down between the guys after the date, but Reality Steve reveals that Clint doesn’t make it to the rose ceremony. Spoilers indicate that Kaitlyn notices Arlis is being cocky to the other guys at the cocktail party, and sends him home without a second thought. Bravo to Kaitlyn for weeding out the guys who aren’t right for her early on in the season — especially guys who mock gays on Twitter .
“At the cocktail party, Clint started acting like a horses ass and was becoming too cocky for everyone there, and Kaitlyn sends him home.”
The next time Kaitlyn will see Clint will be at the Bachelorette Men Tell All special, scheduled to air July 20.
