Cleveland Browns Surprise Again, Beat Cincinnati Bengals

The Cleveland Browns and Brian Hoyer have done it again! The team has won two games in a row after beating the Cincinnati Bengals 17-6 Sunday.

It looks like everyone was wrong about the Brown tanking the season after the Trent Richardson trade . Brian Hoyer has brought ridiculous new life into Cleveland, and is now 2-0 this year as a starter.

The Browns shut down the Bengals talented offense, holding Andy Dalton to 206 yards passing, no touchdowns, and one interception. Cincinnati’s running game didn’t fare much better, producing a little over fifty yards. Put simply, they looked nothing like the team that overpowered the Green Bay Packers a week ago.

A new page has turned in Cleveland with the trade of Trent Richardson, and emergence of Brian Hoyer , who threw for 269 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. It should be safe to say Brandon Weeden has lost the starting job at this point.

In two games Hoyer has made the Cleveland Browns look like a playoff team. Tight end Jordan Cameron has emerged as a major weapon, catching four touchdowns in his last two games. Wide receiver Josh Gordon, back last week from a two game suspension, has proved his rookie season was no fluke.

It’s time for the NFL to start taking the Cleveland Browns seriously. They cleaned house (kind of), and it looks like a fresh start was all they needed. Cincinnati is a legitimate playoff team, and the Browns handled them easily.

Are you surprised the Cleveland Browns beat the Cincinnati Bengals? Are they for real with Brian Hoyer under center?
