Ted Cruz is hoping to win over voters in North Carolina with a little help from martial artist Chuck Norris. With the Texas Ranger star on his side, Cruz is hoping to sweep North Carolina during the March 15 primary. Chuck Norris isn’t the only famous face coming out in support of GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz for the big event. Norris will be joined by talk show host Glenn Beck and Lt. Gen (ret) Jerry Boykin.

The Daily Caller reports that Ted Cruz will be joined by actor and martial artist Chuck Norris at his event in North Carolina on March 13, just two days before the state’s primary election. The event is scheduled to be held at the zMax Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. According to the EventBrite invitation on the Ted Cruz website, the event will start at 2 p.m. with seating limited.
“Please plan on joining your fellow citizens for “An American Rally with Special Guest Ted Cruz,” Glenn Beck, Lt. Gen (ret) Jerry Boykin, Chuck Norris, and many others on Sunday, March 13 at 2PM. Gates open at 1:00pm and the event starts at 2:00pm. Must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are very limited. Please RSVP today!”
Although Chuck Norris will be campaigning for Ted Cruz in North Carolina, the martial artist first endorsed a different GOP candidate back in May 2015. At that time, Norris endorsed Mike Huckabee, calling him “the most qualified” in the GOP presidential bunch and noting that he had “the moral clarity and experience to lead our great country forward.” However, with Huckabee out of the running, it seems that Norris has moved his support to Cruz.

The event in Concord is not being paid for by the Cruz campaign but instead is being sponsored and paid for by Keep the Promise PAC , a conservative super PAC that has openly supported the Cruz campaign. Along with actor Chuck Norris, TV personality and radio host Glenn Beck will also be campaigning for Cruz at the big event. Glenn Beck , the noted Libertarian, endorsed the Republican Ted Cruz in January of 2016 during a rally for Cruz in Iowa. During his speech in Iowa, Beck “begged” people to vote for Cruz for the sake of his children’s future.
“Iowa, I beg you. My children’s future depends on what you do a week from Monday. We have to start raising the bar.”
Beck has been very vocal about his opposition to a Donald Trump presidency, even likening the current GOP front-runner to Adolph Hitler.
“The GOP has one last chance to listen to the people. And the people that, and I understand it, they’re very, very angry because the GOP did not listen the first time around. They didn’t listen to the Ron Paul people who are way ahead of the curve. Then the Tea Party people and they rubbed our nose in it. And they are tired. And they have created Donald Trump. The people are speaking clearly. And there’s two ways to go: anger and nationalism, which has been done before in history. And you can go for nationalism, you can go for anger–has been done before in history.”

What do you think about the Ted Cruz North Carolina rally lineup including actor Chuck Norris and radio personality Glenn Beck? Do you think the pair will help Cruz in the March 15 primary?
