The Bachelorette Season 11 premiere is just days away, and host Chris Harrison has been dropping plenty of hints about the night-one drama. With both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson competing for the title of the Bachelorette , fans can expect a “very aggressive first night,” and what Harrison says are a few “bad seeds” among the guys who were cast for the show.
Shortly after the bios of the 25 guys were released on Monday, Chris spoke to Yahoo ‘s Carrie Bell about the May 18 premiere. The rose-master dished on the five guys he thinks viewers should keep an eye on this season. Although he admits that it was “more than a little weird” to shoot the premiere with not one, but two leading ladies, it was nothing compared to the testosterone-fueled “type-A dudes” who had to vote for either Kaitlyn or Britt to become this season’s Bachelorette .
“It was the closest we’ve come to a full-on throwdown in the history of the series. It’s mostly a good group, but there are always a few rotten apples.”
Out of the five guys Harrison says fans should watch, Chris Strandburg may be one of the few who came on the show for the right reasons. The former model-turned-dentist arrives in a cupcake car, is “ready to get down on one knee,” and is a very “nice clean cut guy” according to the Bachelorett e host. Time will tell if the dentist with the mega-watt smile ends up with the final rose.
Also on Chris Harrison’s “must-watch” list are Ian Thomson, Clint Arlis, Ben Zorn, and Joe Bailey. According to a previous report from the Inquisitr , Zorn wins the group date rose during the filming of Episode 2 in Los Angeles, and he gets rave reviews from Harrison — viewers may want to put him on their Bachelorette bracket.
While Harrison does not list contestant Ryan McDill as one of the five guys to watch, his actions on the first night won’t go unnoticed. The official promo for Season 11 shows Ryan — who once dated Bachelor Juan Pablo’s ex, Nikki Ferrell — arguing with one of his castmates shortly after arriving at the mansion.
McDill’s drunken antics apparently go beyond arguing, with Reality Steve spoiling that Nikki’s ex-boyfriend strips down to his underwear, jumps in the pool, and makes a scene that earns him a one-way ticket home.
The two-night Bachelorette premiere begins on May 18 at 8 p.m. (two hours) on ABC , and continues with a one-hour show on May 19, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
