Chris Brown has yet to confirm an official release date for his new album, Lost & Found (Heartbreak On A Full Moon) , but it looks like the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer has already been hard at work recording new music for fans after taking to Instagram on Friday to show off several snippets of unreleased tracks that are rumored to appear on his upcoming eighth studio album.
Brown, who released the Attack the Block mixtape alongside his OHB crew and Section Boyz just two weeks ago, first confirmed the new album release rumors back in May after teasing the then-impending arrival of his latest single, “Grass Ain’t Greener,” on Instagram before revealing the tentative title of his eighth studio album in the now-deleted post.
“NEW ALBUM(HEARTBREAK ON A FULL MOON( NEW SINGLE DROPS MAY 5 TH . GO DOWNLOAD #OHBMIXTAPE #BEFOREDATRAP #nightsintarzana,” Chris Brown wrote via Instagram as captured in a screengrab by a fan on social media.
While it’s unclear as to why Chris Brown decided to delete his initial Instagram announcement concerning the arrival of the new album, the “Everybody” singer later shared an update regarding the status of the project before revealing an updated title for the highly anticipated studio album on Instagram.

According to an Instagram post shared by Brown in July, Chris’ eighth studio album is tentatively titled “ Lost & Found (Heartbreak On A Full Moon) ” and will feature a whole new lineup of producers, although the “Kriss Kross” singer has yet to confirm an official release date for the album.
“Just trying to live….Can’t wait for y’all to hear the new stuff I been working on. All emotions, NEW PRODUCERS, grass ain’t greener!!!! Title: LOST & FOUND (heartbreak on a full moon,” Chris Brown revealed in the caption of his since-deleted post alongside a screengrab from a fan on Twitter.
Similarly, after releasing the full version of his track “Lady in the Glass Dress” from his X album back in September, Brown further fueled the impending new album release reports after revealing to a fan on Instagram that many of the snippets teased on sites like Periscope and Instagram are likely to appear on his forthcoming album.
“Aye @chrisbrownofficial you releasing any of these peri songs soon? Lol #chrisbrown #bitemytongue #teambreezy #unreleasedsongs,” the fan captioned their post alongside a video snippet of Chris Brown teasing some new material on the social media site.
In response to the fan’s inquiry, Brown reassured the fan with the message, “Wait for this album! Trust.”

Now, it appears that Chris Brown may be closer to announcing an official release date for his highly anticipated new album after taking to Instagram on November 11 to share several video snippets of himself lip-syncing and dancing along to a few unreleased tracks, further prompting fans to gush over the possibility of receiving yet another new music release from the “Back to Sleep” singer in 2016.
“Wanna start making more music for the ladies,” Chris Brown began in the caption of his first Instagram video upload on November 11. “Bring that real love music. Ain’t always about b****** and h***. Want to touch your soul first!”
In his second video, Brown revealed that he is “only [sharing] previews just so y’all know I stay in the cut!!!” before later apologizing to fans for teasing them with new music without an official release date for his next upcoming project.
