In 2019, Bloom got engaged to pop star Katy Perry. According to Hello! Magazine, The Lord of the Rings actor had a romantic plan in place, involving a helicopter ride, some champagne, a ring, and a family dinner at the end. And he executed it to perfection except for a slight comical stumble. Bloom accidentally knocked the champagne bottle over, just as he was about to take out the ring, Perry remembers fondly.
According to US Weekly, the Fireworks singer, for her part, raved over Orlando Bloom’s extravagant and heartfelt proposal. “It was Valentine’s Day,” she said during a February 2019 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “We went to dinner, and I thought we were gonna see some art after dinner, but we pulled up to a helicopter…It was really sweet. He asked me to marry him in a helicopter.”
Lady Gaga & Taylor Kinney
Actor Taylor Kinney surprised singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga, with a heart-shaped ring and proposed in 2015. However, they called it quits in 2016.

Salma Hayek, 56, married French businessman and billionaire François-Henri Pinault, 60, on February 14, 2009. They privately tied the knot in the Saint Germain town hall in Paris. They had a larger reception in April 2009 in Venice, Italy, according to Wonderwall.
"It's such a romantic, amazing story, but it is mine. I don't want to vulgarize it by making it into a story to make myself interesting," Hayek said. Speaking to Town & Country in 2019, Hayek refused to divulge how the pair met.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter
Benedict Cumberbatch and his theater director wife, Sophie Hunter got married in an intimate ceremony and reception on Britain's Isle of Wight. Prior to their wedding, the Sherlock star and Hunter announced their engagement in the Times of London.
"It's what I would have done if I wasn't sort of famous. It's what we do. It's a kind of traditional thing to do," Cumberbatch told People in 2014.
