Breaking Bad Premiere To Stream Live Online For Dish Customers

The season premiere of Breaking Bad is a big deal for Walter White fans. When Dish Network decided to drop AMC, people were outraged, mainly because they were going to miss the start of season five. Well, AMC has a solution. The channel will be streaming the premiere of Breaking Bad on its website on July 15th.

According to Business World, the streaming show will only be available to paying Dish subscribers. Customers can sign-up at AMC.com starting tomorrow.

AMC said that this is most likely a one-time event. The network said that it has no plans to broadcast future episodes online for Dish Subscribers.

AMC said in a statement:

“Every cable, phone and satellite company other than DISH carries AMC and its popular programming, including Breaking Bad , The Walking Dead , and Mad Men in their basic package. AMC wants its loyal DISH viewers to experience the excitement of the Breaking Bad premiere at the same time as their friends and neighbors, and we want to give DISH customers an extra week to switch providers so they can enjoy the rest of the season.”

If you’re a Dish subscriber, you can register to watch a live stream of the Breaking Bad premiere here.

Dish isn’t the only company dropping channels. Yesterday, DirecTV dropped 26 channels due to a dispute with Viacom.
