Bravo star Kim Richards has reportedly been demoted, and possibly fired, from her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .
On June 3, E! News announced the Bravo star will not be returning to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full-time cast member for Season 6. Below is what their source revealed regarding Richards’ future with the network.
“It’s possible Kim may return for a cameo, or a few appearances, but not as a full-time series regular. The fates of the rest of the housewives have not yet been decided, however we are told that most of the women are expected to return.”
Although the Bravo star may return to the show, she will no longer be seen in the magnitude she has been for the last several seasons. Since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 1, Richards has appeared full-time, exposing the ins and outs of her life — for better or for worse.
During the first couple of seasons, the Bravo star was often seen intoxicated, and during the Season 1 finale, was called out by her sister, Kyle Richards, for being an alcoholic. The following year, Richards’ struggles with alcohol addiction continued, but eventually, the Bravo star entered treatment. After her rehab stay, Richards’ behavior on the show changed for the better, and her relationship with her sister thrived. Then, during Season 5, everything appeared to change once again, and this time, for the worst.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Bravo star’s role on the show has been in jeopardy for weeks, following her drunken arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge on April 16. Just this week, a source revealed the following to Radar Online in regard to Richards’ role.
“The network was told that Kim checked back into rehab on Monday, as they requested her to do. However, Kim still refuses to speak to any of her bosses on the show directly and they had to find out through family members.
Although they are not 100 percent certain yet about her future on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, if she checked back into a treatment center voluntarily, she will most likely not be fired from the show.”
Now that the Bravo star has reportedly been at least demoted from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , fans will be waiting on the edge of their seats for an official Season 6 cast announcement.
