Despite initial reports that Brandi Glanville had turned down an offer to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , the former reality star may be reconsidering her decision.
Despite conflicting reports, Us Weekly seems to be all but confirming her return, reporting that she has actually been spotted filming scenes with some of the other castmembers.
“She’ll pop up here and there,” an insider told Us Weekly . “But by no means will she be on full time.”
In fact, in a recent post to Twitter , Glanville stated that she had wasted a whole day in various legal proceedings, which, according to the Examiner , might be the reason that she has agreed to appear on the reality show. Her comments come after she recently admitted that her growing legal disputes had caused a breakdown.
As fans may recall, Glanville decided to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after a major fallout with the other ladies on the show. In particular, Glanville had issues with Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, and Lisa Rinna. According to the New York Daily News , host Andy Cohen stated Glanville’s relationship with the other women on the show had reached a point of no return.
“The issue with Brandi was that she got isolated to a point over two seasons where she was on an island, and she is now in a place where none of them want to be with her,” Cohen said of Glanville’s departure.
Following her departure from the show, Glanville stated that she wanted to concentrate her efforts on her business ventures.
“I will always be thankful to Bravo for the opportunities that have come along with doing this pop culture phenomenon of a show,” she stated.
Meanwhile, following the last season of the show, many fans expressed their desire to see Brandi Glanville return to the series. Cohen took this a step further when he told Howard Stern that the show would “love” to have Glanville back.
Stern followed this up by asking, “If you would love to, then isn’t it a done deal?” To which Cohen answered, “I hope so.”
At the same time, when Glanville was approached about the possibility of her return to the show she appeared to be open to it.
“Who knows, this may not be the last time you see me on Bravo!” she said.
With that in mind, producers apparently wanted Glanville to return to the show as a guest star in order to offer fans some conclusion to her story. However, Glanville’s return was doubtful after reports surfaced that the show had not offered her enough money to make an appearance.
“Brandi told me they asked her to come back, but the money is so small that she basically said, F you,’” an inside source revealed to New York Daily News . “They wanted her to be on just a couple of episodes, so it’s really not worth her while.”
How much money did the network offered Glanville? The Examiner is reporting that she was offered a sum of $15,000 for every episode she appeared in. Although that might seem like a generous offering, it is lower than what Glanville made in her first season. In fact, as she revealed to Stern in her interview, she was pulling down around $16,000 an episode during her first season with the show. That amount jumped up to $500,000 a year after she was promoted to a series regular.
It appears that Glanville has decided that the money she can make from the show far outweighs the downside of sharing your life with the world. In the meantime, Glanville is committed to focusing on her new line of wine, along with her appearance in an upcoming series that has yet to be revealed.
