Although no charges have been brought against Nick Gordon as of yet, he still remains a suspect in the investigation of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death. By now, most readers are probably aware of the multimillion dollar lawsuit filed against Nick by Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed conservator, Bedelia Hargrove.
For those who missed it, a number of allegations were brought against Nick, purporting his alleged involvement in Bobbi Kristina’s bathtub incident. In addition to claims of manipulation and money laundering, Nick was also accused of physically assaulting Bobbi Kristina and knocking her teeth out. The suit also alleges that Nick gave her a “toxic cocktail,” and staging the incident to look like an apparent drowning, similar to her mother Whitney Houston’s death, by placing her in the tub of cold water.
As previously reported on Inquisitr , Nick’s defense team recently filed a motion to have the lawsuit dismissed, citing “several false criminal and frivolous claims” against him, including discrepancies regarding his residency. But now. there are new reports circulating about the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s death.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry , the request for dismissal has also led to the release of Nick’s account of the series of events that occurred prior to the alleged bathtub drowning. It has been reported that Nick confirmed the two had been arguing and fighting, as her neighbors indicated. The townhouse’s surveillance footage is what reportedly led to the argument. However, he refutes any claims about that being the case and denies any involvement regarding the circumstances surrounding the bathtub incident. He aslo insists that he did perform CPR in an effort to revive her, but to no avail.
“Defendant admits that the parties went out on the night in question, that he reviewed video footage and then had an argument with Ms. Brown and that he then changed clothes. Defendant denies the remaining allegations… Defendant admits that he tried to ‘wake up’ Ms. Brown and attempted to get her to react and that he performed CPR on her.”
But, Nick’s account reportedly differs from other witnesses who were also inside the townhouse the morning of January 31. Although Nick insists they only argued that morning, undisclosed witnesses have reportedly said otherwise . The witnesses claim the two began arguing inside the bedroom and Nick pushed Bobbi Kristina into the bathroom.
After a short period of time, Nick emerged from the bathroom and changed clothes, reports USA Today . The investigation will reportedly be ongoing, although Nick’s defense team has addressed most of the claims in the lawsuit. Only time will tell if there is enough substantial evidence to charge Nick Gordon in connection with Bobbi Kristina’s death.
