The nominees have been revealed for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards , and it looks as though The Weeknd will be the one to beat.
The complete list of 2016 Billboard Music Awards nominees were revealed last week on Good Morning America. The Canadian R&B artist received 16 nods: Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top R&B Album, Top Hot 100 Song (2), Top Selling Song, Top Radio Song, Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top Streaming Song (Video).

Justin Bieber is following close behind The Weeknd with 11 nominations, including top artist and top male artist. Next in line are Fetty Wap and Drake with 10 nominations each, while Adele and Taylor Swift are tied with eight nominations each.
