Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have teamed up for a new album, Twenty88 . Sean and Jhene Aiko have collaborated before. But, this time, it’s for an entire project.
Big Sean and Jhene collaborated in years past via various projects, including Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise . “You win some, you lose some.” However, apparently, that’s not what’s about to happen with Big Sean and Jhene Aiko’s Twenty88 album. From popular consensus, there will only be “W”s for this duo team.

According to MTV News , Sean and Jhene Aiko formed the Twenty88 team and have been working in secret while presumably being absent from music for the last 12 months. The source states that Def Jam released a statement about Big Sean and Jhene Aiko’s new album, which included a description about the project.
Apparently, Twenty88 “tells the story of the highs and lows of a relationship, with insights into conflict, memories, love, sex, and more and features production from Key Wane, Detail and Tommy Brown,” says MTV News .
Interestingly enough, Jhene Aiko and Big Sean created a Twenty88 Twitter profile to help promote their album’s release. The first tweet was posted on March 27, and they’ve already gained over 4,600 followers. Sean and Aiko have only made three tweets as Twenty88 . Yet, the duo is receiving an abundance of promotion elsewhere. Likewise, it’s creating a bigger buzz for the anticipated album.
Moreover, in addition to the new album, Jhene Aiko and Big Sean have curated two promotional videos that give their fans a glimpse into the project, before its drop date.
In one video, you see Big Sean and Jhene Aiko sitting in a car, seemingly going through a silent spat. The two face away from each other, but simultaneously, you can tell that they want to say something to the other. This type of thing happens within relationships, right?

In another video, you see Jhene Aiko and Big Sean possibly in a bed while engaging in a romantic, recorded scene. Likewise, this act is part of a healthy relationship.

As Def Jam’s description entails, Sean and Aiko’s album will cover a wide spectrum of relationship topics.
More importantly, Big Sean and Jhene Aiko plan to release their Twenty88 album on April 1. According to MTV News , the source states as follows.
“The new project will reportedly be available for streaming exclusively on Tidal during its first 72 hours, and Sean and Jhene will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday.”
This project is so large and unexpected that some people have begun to speculate if it’s real. Since Sean and Aiko’s album is releasing on April 1, is it possible it’s a trick?
@JheneAiko @BigSean this better not be some elaborate April Fools Joke, cuz honestly I can’t take it!!!

However, the two have worked together on so many projects in the past. So, it’s highly unlikely that they would go through all this trouble to produce videos, feature music, and spectacular cover art, all so it would be one elaborate April Fool’s joke.
Nevertheless, on another happy note, Jhene Aiko recently wished Big Sean a “Happy Birthday.” Via Twitter, Jhene Aiko gave props to her Twenty88 partner without hesitation.
As it turns out, Jhene Aiko wasn’t the only person giving Big Sean shoutouts. There was an entire team dedicated to the cause, according to Sean’s Twitter. How about this birthday celebration?
Best times this weekend! Birthday was ?, dropped new music, n got surprised by these beautiful people! Happy Easter pic.twitter.com/d0yQV5SInr

Sincerely, Jhene Aiko and Big Sean have an amazing level of respect for each other. And, because of that, the two make an awesome duo. With Sean’s unique lyrical delivery and Aiko’s genuine expression, Twenty88 should set speaker systems aflame with nothing but “heat.”
