‘Big Brother’ Racism: Aaryn Fired By Agency Over Racist And Homophobic Remarks

Big Brother ‘s cast this year is apparently so racist and homophobic that even CBS, the show’s broadcasting company, is offended. Aaryn Gries, called “ the Paula Deen of the Big Brother house,” has been dropped by her modelling agency over offensive comments she made about homosexuals and minorities on the show.

TMZ reports that Gries has been very openly hostile to her fellow housemates , calling one gay roommate a “queer” and telling an Asian-American guest to “shut up and go and make some rice.” She has also made racially insensitive comments about black people.

“Be careful what you say in the dark, you might not be able to see that b*tch,” she said of one African-American contestant.

That’s an awful lot of racism for one tiny blonde, but it was apparently enough to prompt Zephyr Talent in Austin, Texas to drop Gries from the agency.

“Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone,” said an official statement on the matter from Zephyr.

“We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent.”

Well, probably not too much consideration.

Since she’s stuck in the Big Brother house, the gossip site noted that she is unavailable for comment. In fact, she probably doesn’t even know we’re all talking about her out here.

Gries isn’t the only one, though. Big Brother racism seems to be an epidemic this year, and the Internet has noticed. Gina Marie called welfare “n**ger insurance” and Spencer infamously referred to Andy as “Kermit the F**” as well as praising German dictator Adolf Hitler as a great speaker.

You’d think CBS hunts these types down because it just makes good television, but even bosses at the network are shocked by the level of ignorance and hate among this year’s housemates.

“We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive,” they said in a statement.

Do you think that Big Brother racism is out of hand this year?
