Beyoncé’s hair was caught in a fan during a live performance at the Bell Centre, in Montreal. Amazingly, she didn’t miss a beat. As her bodyguard worked to remove her hair from the fan, Beyoncé continued to sing as if nothing was wrong.
The Montreal show was part of Beyoncé’s Mrs. Carter World Tour. As she was singing Halo, she sat down on the edge of the stage, above the audience pit. Unfortunately, she was directly in front of a powerful electric fan.
As reported by the Huffington Post , Beyoncé’s hair was suddenly sucked into the fan . Her bodyguard and a member of the crew tried to help, but her hair was hopelessly tangled in the blades.
Someone eventually turned the fan off, but it didn’t seem to help.
Beyoncé’s hair was stuck in the fan throughout the song. However, she carried on singing, refusing to interrupt the show.
Through Instagram, Beyoncé posted a handwritten note about the incident:
“Gravity can’t begin… to pull me out of the fan again. I got snatched.”
Beyoncé had a mishap with a different kind of fan during her tour’s stop in Nashville. As she was singing Irreplaceable, Beyoncé held the hand of a young male fan. As reported by Yahoo News, the fan started shaking uncontrollably with excitement.
Beyoncé leaned down and gave the man a hug, causing him to completely lose control and faint in front of the stage.
The fan issues have not deterred Beyoncé from delivering a consistent and stunning performance. Her self-control and willpower are commendable. Although she was likely in pain, Beyoncé made sure her fans got the show they paid for.
