As Beyonce cancels a show in Belgium under “doctor’s orders,” rumors that the pop star is pregnant with Baby Carter number two intensify.
News as Beyonce cancels a show follow persistent pregnancy rumors about the megastar and wife of Jay-Z in recent weeks, including some hints from Bey herself that daughter Blue Ivy needs a playmate.
Even back during her HBO special, Beyonce hinted at a second baby, saying:
“I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister.”
Recently, Bey took Blue Ivy on stage, and spoke after about her concerns for the tot’s privacy and what it’s like to grow up in the public eye. Beyonce said:
“And I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life … in the back of my mind, she’s my priority. And life is completely different now. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that’s to be her mother.”
As Beyonce cancels a show scheduled for the Sportpaleis in Antwerp on the Mrs. Carter tour, flak for the tight-lipped singer have cryptically said that Bey is “awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision” on whether to possibly cancel future dates.
Exhaustion was cited by flak as a reason, but at 31, Beyonce is certainly more likely to be felled by pregnancy than other chronic health conditions.
Another reason cited was “dehydration,” and pregnant women do tend to get thirsty and have to pee a lot. Hmmm.
TMZ notes that the “dehydration and exhaustion” excuse given as Beyonce cancels the show is a common one used to evade telling the whole truth when a celeb is hiding something — do you think Mrs. Carter is knocked up again?
