With a year under her belt, Bethenny Frankel is more than ready for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York . With the season currently in production, Frankel and co-star Carole Radziwill assured fans that they were in for a “roller coaster of crazy” when the hit reality series returns to television in April. With that in mind, what does the 8th season of RHONY have in store for viewers?
According to Radar Online , Radziwill recently teased fans by hinting that the season will feature more than one twist by the time things are over. Considering all the drama that went down last season, which marked Frankel’s first since her departure in season 3, there’s no telling what will unfold in the coming year.
“But get ready for an emotional roller coaster of crazy like you’ve not seen before,” Radziwill stated. “Where things start in Episode 1 is most definitely not where they will end by the reunion.”
Fortunately, the first trailer for new season shed some light on the coming drama. According to PEOPLE , the new season of The Real Housewives of New York will see the return of Frankel, Radziwill, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer. The series is also set to introduce newbie, Julianne “Jules” Wainstein , who was also featured for the first time in the trailer.
Apart from the normal drama that is expected to unfold between the ladies, the trailer revealed that Frankel is fighting a mysterious health issue. Unfortunately, Frankel has yet to discuss the true nature behind her health scare and just how serious it is.
In addition to her medical issues , Frankel will also be dealing with all the drama from her co-stars. In fact, the reality star recently took to Twitter and promised fans that the drama reaches new heights this season.
“Good Lord, buckle up for April 6: and make sure u have an air sick bag cuz there’s gonna be turbulence #RHONY,” she wrote.
To add to Frankel’s comments, Morgan recently sat down with Radar Online and dished on what becomes of her complicated relationship with Frankel. For starters, Morgan shared how their emotions often stand in the way and prevent them from fully resolving their issues.
“The problem is we are both very sensitive,” Morgan told the outlet. “So we both get hurt. You will have to see where it takes us this season.”
As far as dealing with the newcomer is concerned, Morgan went on to add that Wainstein is no stranger to drama. In fact, she expects that fans will instantly take a liking to Wainstein, who is expected to bring plenty of entertainment on her own.
“The viewers are going to love her like they did with Dorinda,” Morgan shared. “We have a lot of mutual friends. I’ve met her husband before here and there. He is a great guy. Viewers are going to love them both.”
Morgan also revealed how the drama between the cast members has really matured over the years. Instead of dealing with the typical problems of new relationships, the upcoming season will delve deeper into their issues, which should translate to even bigger problems.
“It’s so complex because we are all such good friends now,” Morgan explained in the interview. “It’s not new friendship stuff anymore. We all know each other inside out, which buttons to press, know each others’ histories, so there’s no holding back. It’s really crazy this season. This season [will be] a total roller coaster the whole time right out of the gate.”
