The best credit cards in 2013 have been announced by Creditnet.com , a leading website on credit cards, in order to combat bad credit in hopes of getting out of debt

As previously reported by The Inquisitr , American credit card debt has been going down but the experts believe this is a sign of weak consumer confidence in the economy. For example, Black Friday sales were actually lower in 2013 compared to 2012.

The top three list of the best credit cards focuses on banks that allow the balance of your debt to be transferred from one card to another. This allow Americans to save money by switching from a high interest rate to a low interest rate credit card. But, besides balance transfer terms, they also considered introductory offers, reward programs, customer reviews and expert opinions.

In third place came the Barclaycard Ring MasterCard, which offers one percent cash back on balance transfers made in the first 60 days of account opening. Despite placing third in the best credit cards list, it still doesn’t charge a balance transfer fee, annual fees, and good performance is rewarded via the Giveback program. But it still has a eight percent APR on balance transfers and new purchases.

The second best credit card is the Citi Simplicity Visa Card. Like the Barclaycard, it also offers no late fees, no penalty fees, and no annual fees. But what sets it apart is the zero percent APR interest rate for the first 18 months on balance transfers and new purchases. So for someone trying to get out of debt within a year and half this might be a good option, although after that time period it switches to a 12.99 percent to 21.99 percent APR interest rate based upon your credit score.

The best of the best credit cards is the Discover It card. Like the second place contender it offers 18 months of grace for the balance transfer but the zero percent APR interest rate is limited to six months on new purchases. But, similar to the Chase Freedom credit card, it makes up the difference by offering five percent cash back on categories that change quarterly and one percent back on everything else.

So which of the best credit cards list interests you most in 2013 ?
