Beauty and the Beast fans are waiting impatiently for the return of Vincent and Catherine to the small screen. The Season 2 finale aired last July, and a premiere date for Season 3 has not been officially released by the CW. There is new inside scoop to keep loyal “beasties” occupied though.
An interview with Austin Basis released by People’s Choice shared new inside scoop about the upcoming third season. Vincent and Catherine ended Season 2 on a high note, but they will face new challenges in Season 3.
“It’s always been Vincent and Catherine against the world, and so now that’s specifically, actually going to be the case.”
Season 3 will also feature Vincent and Catherine living together as a couple. The pair has no need to hide their relationship anymore. However, the challenge for Season 3 will be “living as a couple without these forces pulling them apart.”
Basis also teased what is next for J.T. during the interview. An experimental drug brought him back to life at the end of Season 2. Basis offered fans this little teaser about his character.
“It hasn’t been on the market, and it’s not FDA-approved. I don’t trust anything that’s not FDA-approved.”
Fans of this series are fiercely loyal. The strong fan base kept the series on the air. The CW did pull Beauty and the Beast off the schedule during the regular season last year, and the final six episodes of Season 2 aired during the summer. One fan revealed that they never even saw the end of Season 2 because of this action by the network.
The cast has been hard at work filming new episodes for Season 3 since the fall. In fact, On Location Vacations reported that the cast would be at work in Toronto today. The production will take over the area near Adelaide St. West and Simcoe St. for four hours this afternoon. The report also revealed that the Beauty and the Beast cast would wrap production for Season 3 around February 10.
There are more spoilers for Season 3 available for fans who need to know more. Episode titles for Beauty and the Beast Season 3 have been leaked. There will be 13 episodes for Season 3, and 11 episode titles have been released.
According to Venture Capitol Post , those titles are “Beast of Wallstreet,” “Primal Fear,” “Bob & Carol, Vin & Cat,” “Heart of the Matter,” “Most Dangerous,” “Chasing Ghosts,” “Both Sides Now,” “Can’t Be Our Problem Any More,” “Patient X,” “Unbreakable,” and “Sins of the Fathers.”
Stuart Gillard directed one episode of Beauty and the Beast Season 3, and he has shared several teaser photos from that episode on his Twitter account. A fan asked Gillard if the photos are from Season 3, and he confirmed that the photos did come from an upcoming episode of the series.
Catherine, who is played by Kristin Kreuk, will debut a slightly shorter hairstyle for Season 3. That confirms the photos are new. The photos also show off Jay Ryan, Austin Basis, and Nina Lisandrello.

According to Mark Pedowitz at the TCA’s earlier this month, the series will return to the CW this summer. The network is looking to set a Season 3 premiere date for late May or June.
