Baton Rouge Officers: Eyewitness Says Media Isn’t Telling Whole Story About Gunman

Although condolences go out to the Baton Rouge officers who were killed, an eye witness gives a different account of what happened.

It’s well-known that much of right-wing America is attempting to label Black Lives Matter as a terrorist group. Well, mainstream media might be headlining the initiative in subtle ways.

According to independent reporter Tim Black , while on scene, eyewitness Marquis Gibson was interviewed by CNN after the police shooting.

The witness mentions that the shootout started long before Baton Rouge officers arrived on-scene. Rather, the altercation was one between a few men.

Tim Black reports that mainstream media is only telling the public half-stories regarding the Baton Rouge officer shootings. Instead, these media outlets appear to be executing some form of character assassination and painting Black Lives Matter as the culprit.

From the witness’ account, there was a lone gunman, Gavin Eugene Long, in an altercation with other men. The gunman shot one man and also shot at others before attempting to flee the scene.

However, approximately 15 minutes after the 911 call was placed, Baton Rouge officers arrived. Once at the crime scene, the gunman also began shooting at the officers, resulting in the fatal incident.

In Tim Black’s report, he mentioned that CNN intentionally didn’t promote the eyewitness’ testimony. According to the reporter, the mainstream medium was attempting to ride the Black Lives Matter wave.

Although Baton Rouge officers arrived after the fact and got caught in the crossfire, Black elaborates that the media outlet allegedly attempted to dismiss the witness’ statement.

According to the independent reporter, mainstream media intended to have the public believe it was Black Lives Matter related. Likewise, several news outlets have since labeled the officer shooting as an “ambush.”

One commentator, Louis Craig , mentions as follows via Black’s video.

“His point is that media (not just your local news) is spinning it to fit an agenda. Even the ‘great’ CNN is working its best to push the divide between our fellow countrymen to new limits.”

Craig commented in this manner because other residents of Baton Rouge were posting about local news coverage, media that actually told the whole story.

However, if you live outside of Louisiana, you wouldn’t know that there’s more to the story. All you mostly have to rely on is news media outlets like CNN , Fox News , etc. — all of which have taken the “ambush” perspective and haven’t reported the entire story.

Three others that have used the word “ambush” are the Los Angeles Times , NBC News , and Conservative Tree House .

On-scene reporter Tim Black mentions that this was a lone gunman who announced his plans for the shootout. Likewise, as previously reported by the Inquisitr , the gunman had videos on his YouTube page.

Another commentator, Melanie Foster , mentions the following statements about mainstream media.

“This is how they manufactured non thinking people to hate Muslims too. Wake up people! Stand with all your human family: black, white, everyone. We are one. Don’t let them divide us. Think critically. Question. Every. D**n. Thing on mainstream news. There’s a good chance the truth is often 100 percent opposite of their claims. #BlackLivesMatter”

Independent reporter Tim Black has a show called Tim Black at Night . According to his “About Me” section on Facebook, it notes as follows.

“If you tell the truth you don’t have to have a good memory. Hi, my name is Tim Black. Radio host, Internet talk show host, social commentator, political speaker and activist. I use heart, passion, facts and courage to make this world better. It’s not about me. It’s about we!”

Overall, what are your thoughts regarding the independent reporter’s account? Why do you think mainstream media isn’t promoting the eyewitness’ testimony instead of Black Lives Matter terrorism”? Feel free to share your comments below.
