The first Batman V Superman trailer has hit, and even though it’s fan-made, it is still possibly the “dawn of justice” we’ve been waiting for. YouTube user Stryder HD has given us what Zack Snyder has yet to release, and it may just be what we needed to get excited for the upcoming DC Comics film.
The video is made with scenes from previous films, several of which are not even related, but they certainly convey the mood that Zack Snyder’s blockbuster could be using.
It begins with Jesse Eisenberg, the choice to play Superman mainstay villain Lex Luthor , apparently making threats against Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) as they take it in sober silence. This shows that Eisenberg can definitely play a hyper intelligent villain, even if the clip shows him with hair.

Lex Luthor’s movie counterpart wasn’t always bald, of course, as Gene Hackman fans will remember. Snyder is looking to re-imagine the DC universe and could be onto something, as seen in this Batman V Superman fan-made trailer.
Even Jeremy Irons, the actor chosen to play Batman’s butler Alfred, makes a cameo alongside footage from the critically slammed Daredevil . A voice clip from Daredevil is heard as footage from what could be one of the Batman video game cut-scenes plays, giving us a glimpse of how natural Ben Affleck might actually be in the role.
Henry Cavill makes a few appearances as well, mostly silent as footage from Man of Steel rolls.
We also get a tease of Cyborg as some scenes from the RoboCop remake and other films play out a possible origin story.
As the Batman V Superman fan-made trailer plays, we finally get to the part where the two superheroes fight each other. Masterful cuts between different films make it all look fitting together as Batman’s vehicles handily beat down Superman.
Gal Gadot , the choice to play Wonder Woman, also makes a brief cameo before Superman asks Batman for help. Clips from the Terminator series and Pacific Rim also make it into this video.
What do you think of this fan-made trailer for Zack Snyder’s follow-up to Man of Steel ?
