There is hardly anyone in the world who hasn’t been waiting for the first Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer to drop, and now it finally is about to do just that. On Monday, the first trailer and extended footage will premiere for the film, but you have to be in the right place to see it and here’s how, where, and when.
The theatrical trailer debut for Batman V Superman will be on Monday, April 20, but it’s only going to be in about 100 theaters. Oh yeah, and it’s going to be a “trailer event” that takes place only in IMAX theaters as well.
Variety reported the news of the trailer screening on Monday in about 100 theaters across the country so this will be a very limited situation. With that happening though, you can expect the trailer to land online on Monday too.

This news comes on the heels of the report from Latino Review that states Zack Snyder will actually debut the first five seconds of the teaser trailer on Thursday. That’s set to happen through social media so be ready for that as well.
After that happens, a links is expected to be provided so that you can sign up and check out the full Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer at a theater on Monday. Now, you’ll have to have an IMAX theater near you to do that, and only a handful have been unveiled so far.
As of Wednesday evening, Regal Cinemas had posted a list of participating IMAX theaters that will be showing the trailer on Monday. Collider has that list and shows close to 20 theaters that will be included on the event.
Other theater chains may join in soon and release a list of participating IMAX theaters. Well, they will have to join in soon because Monday isn’t far away.
The only other thing we really know about Monday’s trailer event is that it will last about 15 minutes. Obviously, the trailer won’t last that long so there may be build-up or a message from Zack Snyder or something else entirely.
Not much is known about Batman V Superman: Dawn of Jusitce , and even less about what will be seen in the trailer. The film starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunted, Scoot McNairy, and Jason Mamoa opens on March 25, 2016.
