Bachelor Chris Soules is ready to take on the job of handing out roses in 2015, making fans of the Iowa farmer tweet for joy when the formal announcement was finally made on Good Morning America August 27. Soules appeared on set half-way through the morning show, flashing his million-dollar smile and quickly revealing his love for Double Stuf Oreos.
Co-host Lara Spencer presented Chris with a load of the popular Nabisco cookies after he confirmed that they are indeed his favorite. The only thing missing was a big glass of milk, something Soules states is the best way to enjoy his favorite cookies.

Wednesday morning’s big reveal didn’t come as a surprise to most fans of ABC’s popular reality show, but the confirmation finally put a stop to the rumors that Bachelor 2015 could be Arie Luyendyk, Jr. or Marquel Martin.
When Soules was sent home by Bachelorette Andi Dorfman, a massive group of “Farmer Chris” fans made it clear to ABC that they wanted the handsome farmer to become the next Bachelor . Even up against Luyendyk’s supporters and “Cookie Monster” Marquel Martin’s fans, it was evident that viewers wanted a guy who is serious about finding love.
Luyendyk didn’t waste time trying to get a little sympathy for losing out, tweeting out his own version of a spoiler on Monday, two days ahead of ABC’s planned announcement on GMA .
I’m not the Bachelor, have fun on the farm people ??

Why was Chris Soules, 32, picked over the other guys who were supposedly in the running to become The Bachelor ? There is no doubt ABC did not want to make a mistake casting another guy like Juan Pablo, known as one of the most disliked Bachelor ‘s of all time.

Soules spoke about wanting to take on the position of rose-handler in a post-Bachelorette interview with E! this summer. He loved the thought of meeting 25 women on national television, stating that it isn’t all that easy to meet the woman of his dreams living in a small Iowa town.
“How could you not be interested in that? I’m 32 and I haven’t really met the person I’m looking for and it’s hard to meet people… in a small town. So that alone makes it something I would be interested in.”
Will he be a controversial Bachelor ? Not likely, but it’s time for viewers to see a man who is genuinely interested in finding true love on TV.
