Austin Mahone is not a name everyone would recognized, but the teen idol is slowly leaving his mark and one of his most endearing traits is his appreciation of fans, he recently met a teen sick with cancer at his concert.
Bebe Dodd is a 13-year-old young girl, who has been having a rough time, after she was diagnosed with cancer in the form Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Earlier this year, local radio station KISS 106.1 saw her story and got to work trying to make the meeting a reality.
You see, Bebe is Austin Mahone’s biggest fan, according to her mother and she thought meeting him would be the coolest thing ever.
Bebe has been consumed by her illness, getting treatments and trying to stay positive, so when she was invited to come to the radio station, she thought it was to thank supporters for their fundraising efforts.
As The Inquisitr reported last month, Austin Mahone invited Bebe to come to the station’s Jingle Ball , when the two talked on air during the Billy the Kidd show.
At that time, Austin invited Bebe to come to the concert and promised he would meet her, twin sister Amanda, and their mother.
“I want you to come to the Jingle Ball and check it out.” Austin Mahone said to a shocked Bebe in late November.
On Monday, Bebe’s dream of meeting the teen sensation she has been following for years, came true at the American Airlines Arena, where the concert took place.
“Hello Bebe, how are you?” said Austin Mahone, when greeting his fan. “So good to finally meet you!”

Bebe and Austin hugged each other, chatted for a while and he told her he was proud of her.
Amy Trull, Bebe’s mom, talked about meeting the up-and-comer, who has been dubbed “the next Justin Bieber.”
“My fans are everything; they’re the reason I’m here,” Austin said, according to Tull. “They’ve gotten me so far, and I just feel like I want to give back as much as possible. I love them more than anything.”
Tull, along with her two daughter and a family friend, got the chance to meet Austin Mahone and told him they were more than excited to meet him in person.
Bebe has gone through a lot, but on Monday she had tears of joy in her eyes. She said meeting Austin Mahone, “was the best day ever.”
