Asus was hoping to produce 300,000 of their Asus Eee Pad’s each month however the company is only able to currently deliver 10,000 units to their customers.

According to Netbook News the low production numbers have been caused by a lack of currently available transformers.

Many computer, tablet and other hardware manufacturers have struggled to obtain required components since the Japanese Earthquake left various computer component manufacturers without the ability to provide needed supply chain pieces.

According to various internet sources, Asus hopes to ramp up numbers by June, providing for far greater production numbers.
