Apple Watch Preorder Date And Time Revealed — Will It Be Available In Stores? How Much Will It Cost?

The Apple Watch is coming soon, and everyone knows it, but not everyone knows exactly when it will be available. Well, the date, time, and cost of the Apple Watch preorder has now been revealed and confirmed so get out your calendars, set your alarms, and determine just how much money you’re willing to spend.

As reported by Ubergizmo , the Apple Watch will indeed go on sale as of April 24, but some are looking to confirm ownership before then. It is now known that the preorder for the Apple Watch will begin at 12:01 a.m. PDT on April 10, 2015.

Customers in France and Germany will be able to place preorders after 9:01 a.m. while those in Australia will be after 5:01 p.m., and those in Hong Kong, Japan, and China will be after 3:01 p.m. Those in the U.K. can place an order online at 8:01 a.m.

Now, for those that are hoping to head into an Apple Store and pick up one of their own? Well, that won’t be happening as Apple has confirmed that there will be no walk-in purchasing of the hot watch.

This means that there will be massive line-ups outside of Apple Stores for the release on April 24. You won’t even be able to do it after that because you’re simply going to have to pre-order it and make your appointment to go get it.

By ordering your Apple Watch online, you will be able to determine which price range is for you, and there is a wide array. The Apple Watches start at $349 and go all the way up to $17,000 depending on what version you want and what extras you’d like, per CNET .

On April 10, customers will be able to go into stores to look at the Apple Watch, check it out, and try it on. They still won’t be able to buy one there though and their preorder will have to be made ahead of time for the release on April 24.

If you’re planning on being online when the Apple Watches go on sale for preorder, you may want to do it as fast as you can.

Making the start time midnight Pacific (3:00 a.m. Eastern) means that some will have to stay up really late to place an order. Apple is likely doing this so the traffic won’t be as massive and won’t cause site issues and crashes.

The Apple Watch is truly the next big (or little) thing, and preorders are on the way, but the cost may turn some people off. It won’t be a failure, but the pricier versions may not end up having the sales that Apple is hoping for on launch day.

Still, at least there won’t be tents set up and people waiting in line for days.
