Andy Herren has lost his job. The Big Brother 15 house member was fired by The College Of DuPage, a firing that the university confirmed via Facebook. The message simply states that Herren is no longer working for the university.

Herren, a self-proclaimed “professor” for the university, has made various racial slurs, which didn’t sit well with university officials. Season 15 of the popular show has been known for its racist tone. Along with Herren, other house guests to make racial slurs include Aaryn Gries, Ginamarie Zimmerman, and Amanda Zuckerman.

Herren’s comments were “less racist” than his fellow Big Brother housemates but still enough to cost him a job.

You may recall that Aaryn was already dropped from her modeling agency and GinaMarie was also let go from her job.

Fired contestants won’t know about the fate of their jobs until they are eventually released from the Big Brother isolation house.

A new rumor suggests that Andy Herren even lied about being a professor and was instead working towards that title with the university. According to reports, Andy was just a part-time instructor.

Andy has been one of the more aggressive housemates. After housemate Elissa left the house, Andy proclaimed, “I would punch her in the throat.” After GinaMarie called some evicted house guests “biracial robots who aren’t human,” Andy replied, “Yeah, the robotic biracials.”

On it’s Facebook page, The College Of DuPage writes:

“Andy Herren has formerly worked for College of DuPage as a part-time instructor. He does not currently work for the College. Any behavior or language he uses on the CBS reality show “Big Brother” does not represent the opinions or values of College of DuPage.”

CBS and Big Brother executives have done very little to respond when racial slurs are hurled on the show.

Do you think more firings are likely based on the actions of Big Brother housemates?
