Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Officially “Move On” From ABC News After Public Relationship Scandal
It looks like T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach's return to ABC Newsis highly "unlikely." According to PEOPLE, it is confirmed that the GMA3: What You Need To Know co-anchors are stepping back from the cameras after ABC investigates into their romantic relationship. "After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it's best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions," an ABC spokesperson revealed in a statement. The spokesperson added, "A decision for new co-hosts [of GMA3 and 20/20] will come later." As per the source, Holmes, 45, and Robach, 49, were not anticipated to stay in their present roles at the network after they were taken off the air on December 5. "There are no negotiations about their future," the source said. "ABC is completing their investigation."
