Alec Baldwin and fiancée Hilaria Thomas will officially tie the knot in a Catholic wedding to be held on June 30 in New York City.
According to the New York Post the couple will wed at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral on Mulberry Street in NoLIta.
The famous church which was erected in 1810 has seen many famous movies filmed in its location including The Godfather scene in which Al Pacino renounces Satan and Martin Scorcese used the church twice, once in the movie Mean Streets and then again while filming Gangs of New York.
Many insiders had believed that Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas would elope in Europe following the Cannes Film Festival.
This will be the first marriage for the 28-year-old Thomas and the second for Baldwin, 54 who was previously married to actress Kim Basinger for eight years before calling it quits in 2001.
The setting for his second wedding is far different from the East Hampton beach wedding he shared with Basinger in 2003. For his first wedding more than 100 guests were in attendance including Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley.
In the meantime Alec Baldwin has been incredibly busy, he was filming a James Toback directed film during cans, his new movie Rock Of Ages is about to hit and he’s still filming scenes for 30 Rock.
Alec Baldwin and his soon-to-be wife were engaged in April but had lived together in SoHo since August of last year.
Congratulation to the happy couple as they embark on the next part of their journey together.
