An Al Qaeda magazine called for more terror attacks in America and urged the bombings of Las Vegas casinos, military colleges, and oil tanker targets. The English-language magazine even features a car bomb making “how-to” article. Palestine-Betrayal of the Guilty Conscience Al-Malahem is an online Al Qaeda magazine created by the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) arm of the Islamic militant group.
The Palestine-Betrayal Al Qaeda magazine calls for followers to abide by the “recipe” noted in the how-to article to set off car bombs in crowded venues around America. A “selected jihadi operations” timeline in the magazine was the terror alert red flag which first garnered the attention of the Middle East Media Research Institute – MEMRI.
MEMRI Executive Director Steve Stalinsky had this to say about the latest edition of the “slickly-produced” Palestine-Betrayal Al Qaeda magazine:
“The timeline concludes with the date ‘201?’ and blank spaces and question marks for the photo and information of the next attack – implying that it is coming soon. Both AQAP and IS [ISIS or Islamic State ] as well as every other Al-Qaeda branch and offshoot is relying on U.S. social media companies including Twitter and YouTube for their cyber-Jihad efforts. There could be some envy by AQAP that IS is now getting all the headlines.”
The suggested list of soft targets for the lone wolf terror attacks also include Time Square in New York, the General Atomics defense contractor in San Diego, the Georgia Military College, the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, multiple night clubs, and trains.
The Al Qaeda magazine how to make a car bomb article reads, “This recipe gives you the ability to make a car bomb even in countries with tight security and surveillance.” The Palestine-Betrayal article then goes on to provide a “shopping list” of items needed to make a car bomb.
The terror attack encouragement article also included a list of soft targets in Britain. The European suggested targets include the Marks and Spencers chain of department stores. To avoid having Muslims as victims, the Al Qaeda magazine encourages carrying out the attacks during Friday afternoon prayers.
A nine-page article in the Palestine-Betrayal magazine entitled, “How to make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom,” also included an illustrated guide on the assembly of pressure cooker bombs.
An excerpt from the pressure cooker bombs article in the Al Qaeda magazine reads:
“My Muslim brother, before you start reading the instructions, remember that this type of operation if prepared well and an appropriate target is chosen and Allah decrees success for you, history will never forget it. It will be recorded as a crushing defeat on the enemies of Islam.”
Do you think another terror attack as noted in the Al Qaeda magazine or a first attack by ISIS will occur in the United States? Does Dr. William Forstchen’s horrific Islamic State attack scenario in Day of Wrath seem like it could soon become a reality?
