Acer Iconia Tab A501 With HSPA+ Hits AT&T On Sept. 18

Acer and AT&T Wireless are preparing to release the Acer Iconia Tab A501 with HSPA+ on September 18 and the device will come with a price tag of $480 or just $330 with a two-year data contract from the wireless carrier.

Many users were hoping for LTE technology which has been left off the device, however the tablet still offers some impressive specs including Google Android 3.0 which will be upgradeable to Android 3.1 via an over-the-air update in the near future.

The tablet also features a 10.1-inch display along with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile 1GHz dual-core processor and integrated GeForce GPU.

According to Sumit Agnihortry, vice president of product marketing for Acer America:

For users on the go the Iconia Tab A501 also features a compact design at just 1.69 pounds and measurements of 10.24(w) x 6.97(d) x 0.52(h)-inches.
