The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and 2 continue to add cast members to its production as filming is ready to begin in Atlanta. Wes Chatham is the latest addition.
Chatham will be playing Castor as a cameraman from the Capitol who joins the rebels and works closely with Cressida, who is played by Natalie Dormer.
Director Francis Lawrence returns to helm the last two parts of the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ novel Mockingjay which follows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as she leads a rebellion against the tyrannical Capitol.
This is all in anticipation of the third installment in the franchise, The Hunger Games Catching Fire which premieres in the US on November 22.
Speaking of Jennifer Lawrence, she and co-star Liam Hemsworth were spotted in Atlanta on Saturday to begin production on Mockinjay.
Lawrence was seen wearing street clothes on her way to the studio presumably to film for Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Hopefully the lower arm brace she had on is nothing serious and she will be able to use that bow and arrow.
Liam Hemsworth, who’s had all kind of drama in his personal life these past few month, culminating in the break up from ex Miley Cyrus, was seen clean shaven on his way to the studio.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 premieres in the US on November 21, 2014 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 debut on November 20, 2015.
The novels have been incredibly popular with youngsters as have the films and there is great anticipation for the saga with all the new characters to continue.
Starring thus far in Mockinjay are Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Natalie Dormer, Julianne Moore , Lily Rabe, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stef Dawson, Evan Ross, and Patina Miller.
