K-Pop star’s response to the allegations
At the press conference, Jung Joon Young insisted that the recording of the sexual act was consensual and that he got rid of the footage afterwards, Soompi reports.
“It was a video that my ex-girlfriend and I both agreed to film, but I deleted it immediately afterwards. However, the word ‘hidden camera’ had appeared in reports, causing her to greatly fear everything,” he said.
So you may be wondering why Joon Young’s ex filed charges if the filming was consensual. He offered an explanation at the press conference.
“It was not a hidden camera,” he said. “At the time [of the accusation], I was busy with various schedules and the woman had felt neglected. We argued and came to a misunderstanding and she impulsively filed the charge based on the video filming.”
“I submitted to the police investigation and told them my side of what happened, acknowledging that the filming had occurred but had been mutual,” Jung Joon Young added. “The woman in question had also withdrawn her complaint and stated that the filming had not happened without her permission.”
Based on Joon Young’s statements, he seems to be very concerned about the woman who filed the charges against him.
“She is a person whose future is very promising, and is a person who is not used to the public’s interest. She is deeply regretting how much the situation has become magnified.”
